I will not complain that I don't have time, but yes, I have n o t enough time for all the things I want to do. But it is a lot, because I'm so terribly disorganized, I think. I have one hour here and then again an hour of time there.
Beim Malen bin ich aber immer froh, wenn ich an den Punkt gelange, an dem alles wie von selbst geht. Eins ergibt das andere und ich agiere nur, ohne zu überlegen. An diesen Punkt gelangt man aber nicht, wenn man weiß, dass man nur eine Stunde Zeit hat.
But when painting, I'm always happy when I get to the point, where everything goes by itself. One thing leads to another and I act only, without thinking twice. But you can't get to this point, when you know, that you only have an hour time.
Deshalb versuche ich jetzt meinen Tag so zu organisieren, dass ich vier Stunden am Stück Zeit habe. Während dieser Zeit möchte ich mich e i n e m Projekt widmen und mich durch nichts anderes ablenken lassen. Mal sehen wie das so klappt.
Therefore, I am trying to organize my day in that way, that I have four hours at a time. During this time I would like to devote myself to o n e project and get not distracted by anything else. Let's see how that works out that way.
Es hat ja viele Vorteile, Zuhause arbeiten zu können, aber diese Vorteile sind oftmals gleichzeitig auch Nachteile. Nun ja, ich will mich eigentlich gar nicht beschweren, sondern mich nur besser organisieren.
It has so many benefits to work at home, but these benefits are often at the same time disadvantages as well. Well, I do not really want to complain, but I only want to organize everything a little bit more.
Und ja: Malen ist auch Arbeit!

Gestern war das Wetter so schön, dass ich mir dieses angefangene Bild geschnappt habe,
Yesterday, the weather was so nice, that I've grabbed this unfinished painting
und endlich mal wieder im Garten gemalt habe.
and have finally painted in the garden again.
Ich konnte es sogar fertigmachen. Ich habe heute noch einmal einen Blick drauf geworfen und es ist fertig. Ich werde es gleich versiegeln und noch ein paar Fotos machen und dann meinen Newsletter verschicken usw. Damit sind meine vier Stunden dann mit Sicherheit ausgefüllt.
I could even finish it. Today, I have once again taken a look and yes, it is finished. Now I will varnish it and take some more photos and send out my newsletter and so on. I'm sure, my four hours will be filled with that, today.
Mal sehen, ob ich mir morgen dann ein anderes, angefangenes Bild nehme, oder ob ich nochmal einen Buddha male. Ich hätte ja noch ein paar mehr im Kopf. Hm?
Let's see, if tomorrow then I'll take another unfinished painting or if I paint another Buddha. I would have a few more in the head. Hm?
Wo ich aber gestern so neben den Schildkröten meiner Tochter gestanden und gemalt habe, habe ich Euch davon auch noch ein paar Fotos gemacht.

Wir haben letztens den Eingang des Schildkrötenhauses so verkleinert, dass gerade die Schildkröten durchpassen, da ich die Katze des Nachbarn I M Schildkrötenhaus erwischt hatte. Was meint Ihr, was ich mich erschreckt habe.
We have recently reduced the entrance of the house of the turtles, so that just the turtles fit through it, because I saw, that the neighbor's cat was i n s i d e the turtles house. I was so scared, you can not imagine.
Zum Glück ist den Schildkröten nichts passiert. Beide haben den Kopf noch dran. Oh, und die Katze auch.
Luckily, nothing happened to the turtles. Both have their heads still attached. Oh, and the cat also.
